This online talk offers guidance through the festival jungle and provides practical tips on accreditation, the ticket rush, networking and project positioning. Claus Herzog-Reichel and Mario von Grumbkow will discuss with you which events are worth attending, how filmmakers can gain access, and what matters most when it comes to networking at the Berlinale.

Claus Herzog-Reichel (born 1986) is a producer of European cinema and co-founder of filmfaust GmbH in Cologne. He was awarded the First Feature Award at the 2019 Berlinale for “ORAY”. His productions include “LIEBE, D-MARK UND TOD” (Grimme Prize 2024), “IMMACULATA” (Cannes 2024) and the Berlinale premieres “HYSTERIA” and “SIRENS CALL” (2025). He develops international feature film projects, is a member of the German Film Academy and is active as a lecturer and jury member.
Mario von Grumbkow (born 1989) is Head of Production and is responsible for the financial, legal and organisational aspects of cinema and TV productions, as well as international co-productions. His projects include “HYSTERIA” “SIRENS CALL”, “THE ASSIGNMENT”, “FRITZ LITZMANN, MY FATHER AND I” and “LOVE, D-MARK AND DEATH”. As a producer and writer, he combines many years’ experience in production, financing and story development. He is a member of Filmbüro NW and the Federal Association of Production Managers.
