The online seminar provides an overview of the most important and most common issues in the production of a film.

The focus is on copyright and personal rights as well as film contracts. Among other things, appropriate remuneration for filmmakers, the clarification of music rights and cooperation with protagonists in a documentary film will be discussed.

The seminar offers a mixture of theory and practice and provides practical answers to questions and should help to recognise and assess legal risks at an early stage. Participants’ questions from their own production practice will be answered and discussed in the group.

Prof Dr Heidrun Huber is a lawyer and author of numerous publications on the subject of film law. She is an honorary professor at the Munich University of Television and Film, a guest lecturer at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy and , as a lawyer, represents authors, agencies, producers, directors, actors and presenters in particular.
