with Fitore Muzaqi
Dates: Sat, 21.03.- Sun, 22.03.2026
Registration deadline: Sun, 08.03.2026
Target group: Beginners
In the two-day seminar Material development, the first steps in concept work and material development are illuminated using your own projects. Lecturer Fitore Muzaqi will focus on the premise and explore the potential of the ideas you bring with you as a group. The important thing is to find your own voice in the story and work out your personal creative signature. Both fictional and documentary material can be discussed in the seminar. No matter what format you bring with you – we invite you to immerse yourself in the practice together and share and develop your film idea in the group.
In the seminar, the following questions will be addressed using the materials you bring with you:
- What format (series, film, exhibition) does your idea fit into?
- How do I get started with material development? What do I need for it?
- How do I revise my material and when do I know it’s ready?
The seminar is aimed at filmmakers with initial experience in material development. Together you will look at different approaches to material development so that you can develop a good workflow. Lecturer Fitore Muzaqi will teach you in a practical way how to turn ideas into viable material concepts in a structured way.
