The pocket workshop offers an exchange on applications to German film schools. Participants are given an overview of the various schools and learn what is important when applying. This includes the submission of a portfolio or a film as well as the subsequent, often multi-stage selection process. Experiences, hurdles and opportunities are discussed.
Bettina Braun is a director/author and lecturer/guest professor for documentary film.Bettina Braun’s films are screened at national and international festivals and have received numerous awards.She received the Grimme Prize Special for her documentary film trilogy: “Was lebst du?”, “Was du willst”, “Wo stehst du?”. Bettina Braun is a founding member of the film network LaDOC n.e.V. Bettina completed her training in London and Cologne.
