The following questions are answered in the pocket workshop:
- What types of 2D animation are there?
- How do you plan an animation?
- How do you animate and what techniques are there?
- Where can I get more information and how can I get better at animating?
All these questions will be answered during the creation process of a small animation that the instructor will make live during the workshop.
The workshop is aimed at all those interested in film and animation with some or no experience.
Vadims Ivanovs is a 2D animator and filmmaker from Latvia, currently living in Ludwigsburg, Germany, where he studies animation at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. Vadims completed his first film studies in Riga, Latvia, and his debut film “May I Speak Now?” was awarded “Best Student Film” and “Best Director” at the Lisbon Film Festival. In addition to his studies, Vadims works as a freelance animator and filmmaker.
