in cooperation with Lebenshilfe Münster e. V.

Action!

Teenagers and young adults can get creative in the “Easter teens” holiday film workshop organised by Lebenshilfe Münster. Supported by media educators Karla Stindt and Judith Kreuzberg, you will develop and shoot your own film together.

Whether in front of or behind the camera, everyone can contribute their own ideas and get to know different areas of film work. Previous knowledge is not necessary. The workshop will be accompanied by media educator Karla Stindt and Judith Kreuzberg, who will be on hand to support the participants throughout.

A reliable and enjoyable workshop time is well taken care of: a reference companion, a varied programme, lunch together and a transport service for the outward and return journey are included in the offer.

The film created in the workshop will premiere at the LITFILMS Literatur Film Festival Münster in September at the Schlosstheater. The presentation offers the young people a special experience and provides an appreciative stage for their work.

Further information on the programme can be found here in Lebenshilfe’s travel and leisure booklet “Unterwegs 2026”.

Karla Stindt completed her studies in Social Work in 2017 and her Master’s degree in Culture, Aesthetics and Media at Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences in 2020. She attended the film class at the Friedl Kubelka School for Independent Film Vienna under the direction of Philipp Fleischmann in 2019 / 2020, where she focussed on experimental film.

She primarily supports youth film productions and manages projects in the areas of artistic and cultural education. Since February 2017, Karla Stindt has been working as a freelance filmmaker, primarily in the field of documentary film and as a freelancer in media education projects at Medienprojekt Wuppertal e.V.. In collaboration with Marike Flömer and supported by the association Vollbild e.V., she is launching the short film event ‘fem goes short’ in 2022, which, in addition to the cinematic examination of feminist topics, is also about creating a network of FLINTA* people in the film industry.
