The pocket workshop offers an exchange about applications to German film schools. Participants are given an overview of the various schools and an example of what is important when applying. This includes the submission of work samples and the subsequent, often multi-stage selection process. Experiences, hurdles and opportunities will be discussed.
Bettina Braun is a director/author and lecturer/guest professor for documentary film. Bettina Braun’s films are screened at national and international festivals and have received numerous awards.She received the Grimme Prize Special for her documentary film trilogy: “Was lebst du?”, “Was du willst”, “Wo stehst du?”. Bettina Braun is a founding member of the film network LaDOC n.e.V. Bettina completed her training in London and Cologne.
