The clip for the album’s title track takes viewers on a musical journey from Cameroon and Ethiopia to Iceland and Norway.

The studio recordings were made by ARD cameraman René Begas. Karibuni members Josephine Kronfli, Pit Budde and Fara Diouf are joined by Rahel Budde, Carlos Mampuya, Klaus Jochmann and Steffi Stephan.
The chorus “Waka Waka” has been known around the world since Shakira’s 2010 World Cup hit. “It actually comes from a traditional song from Cameroon that almost everyone in Africa knows,” says Josephine Kronfli from Karibuni.
With traditional instruments and new lyrics in German and the official language of Ethiopia, the Münster-based band has re-recorded the song for music fans young and old. The primary school children from the German school in Addis Adeba, where Karibuni was a guest in 2015 for a music video, are also involved.

The video was edited by filmmaker Dimitryo Zabaryllo.
