After young artist Bo steals an old book from an antique shop in search of inspiration, he discovers a stranger’s secret dream diary. She claims to have the same dreams over and over again, but also to experience deja vus and supernatural moments in her everyday life that blur the boundaries between her reality and dream world. Bo loses herself more and more in the stranger’s notes and also begins to dream of the fabulous garden.

Bo embarks on a journey of self-exploration and begins to see the world from new perspectives. He also incorporates this into his artistic processes, losing himself more and more in the symbolism of the surreal flowers that he encounters in his dreams, but also time and again in his everyday life.
When Bo finally has to prove himself with his works at an art exhibition
he not only has to face the critics, but also his relationships, which he has neglected in his delusional search for artistic fulfilment. But before Bo can come to terms with this, he meets the saleswoman from the antique shop. She is the author of the dream diary. Together they go back to the shop and the shop assistant confronts Bo with the ultimate decision: does he give himself over completely to the dream garden and thus to his artistic vision, or does he stay in reality and maintain his relationship with the people who are actually important to him?
The film deals with being an artist as such, but also with a central crisis of our generation. Our possibilities are unlimited: Everything is just a click away. But it is precisely this availability of information, distractions and images that often prevents us from seeking beauty and inspiration in the real world.
