Following the joint event as part of the Münster 2025 film festival, Filmwerkstatt Münster and Filmservice Münster.land teamed up again in 2026 and invited guests to a film breakfast at neben*an at the end of April.
Filmmaker Aïsha Noomi Stief and author Conrad Dreyer were guests at the LITFILMS Literature Film Festival Münster and presented themselves and their ideas for their residency. During their three-month residency in Münster and the Münsterland region, the duo will explore “14+1 ways of dealing with robots”.
In addition to getting to know the artists in residence, there were many exciting conversations in the best weather, with coffee and croissants. The filmmakers present had the opportunity to get in touch with old and new faces, talk about their film projects and discuss the current conditions for filmmaking in Münster and the region.
Do you make films and want to network?
Then come to our next film-makers’ get-together on 16 June at neben*an. We look forward to seeing you there!
Until then, we hope you enjoy the impressions from the film breakfast:

The film breakfast is a cooperation with the Filmservice Münster.land, a municipal institution .
When filming takes place here and in the Münsterland region, it is the first port of call for location scouting and the interface between filmmakers, authorities, service providers and filming locations. It provides advice and support in the preparation and realisation of film projects and coordinates filming permits – and has been doing so for over 20 years.
On the Filmservice Münster.land website, you will find extracts from its own extensive location database: from historic manor houses to urban, empty factories, there is a lot on offer. The Filmservice also organises cinema film premieres with a local connection and is committed to Münster and the Münsterland region as a growing film location.
