Support for the film community in Whitesburg, Kentucky!

The “Appalshop”, which is roughly equivalent to the Münster film workshop in Whitesburg, Kentucky, was also completely destroyed in heavy rainfall.

The heavy rainfall that caused devastating floods over the central Appalachian Mountains in the US state of Kentucky on 28 July also completely destroyed the “Appalshop”, which is roughly equivalent to the Münster film workshop in Whitesburg, Kentucky. The film people there have lost their film material, technical equipment and their basis for work and are now collecting money to rebuild.
Filmwerkstatt member and filmmaker Susanna Wüstneck got to know the Appalshop team while travelling for work and is asking the friends of the Filmwerkstatt for support! Here is the appeal from Susanna Wüstneck:
