The 29-minute co-production by Filmwerkstatt and Goldstoff Filme will premiere at the 2023 Max Ophüls Prize Film Festival and is nominated in the Best Medium Length Film competition.

The story about a shepherdess and well-known local clairvoyant – known as the “Spökenkiekerin” in Westphalian – is set in 19th century Münsterland. The film was directed by Mark Lorei, written by Charlotte Krafft and produced by Lotte Ruf.

The premiere will take place on
Wednesday, 25 January 2023 at 4 pm.
