Pitching session at LITFILMS

On 27.09.2024 at 16:00 in the SpecOps Network, five filmmakers and film teams will present their film projects to a jury.

As part of the Filmwerkstatt Münster pitching session , five filmmakers and film teams have the opportunity to present their film projects to a professional jury. The aim of this event is to convince the jury of the quality and originality of their ideas in a short, concise presentation of just five minutes. During this time, the participants must convincingly present their vision, the storyline and the motivation behind their project in order to secure funding from the Münster Department of Culture.

This year’s pitchers include:

Can Ünlü, Tobias Grimstein & Jasper Rott, Paula Berger and Mustafa Khalaf.

The jury consists of Christine Kiauk, Lejla Aliev, Nina Romming, Benjamin Leers, Claus Herzog-Reichel and Marc Pierschel.

Case Study

with Christiaan Hümbs-Steinbeck (The Bookkeepers)

In 2023, Christiaan Hümbs-Steinbeck (Die Bücherhüter) and Lioba Schmidt (Rotes Gefühl) received funding from the Münster Cultural Office for their short films. Christiaan’s documentary film Die Bücherhüter will celebrate its premiere at the LITFILMS Festival on 21 September 2024 at 15:00. He will talk about his experiences in a case study: How did the pitching session go, how did the shoot turn out, what exciting moments did he experience and which people did he come into contact with?
