Freiraum: The film workshop for 15 young people aged between 12 and 16. The aim of filmmakers Mattias Engling and Julian Pache is to jointly develop and realise a short film on the topic of“Freiraum“.
The key questions of the workshop are:
- What freedom do young people see in their lives and what do they want?
- How do the crises of our present influence their wishes, dreams and fears and thus also their freedom?
- How can we create freedom and stand up for our own ideas?
The children and young people taking part in the project should:
a) discover and develop their creative potential by learning various artistic methods,
b) build social bonds by interacting with others their own age and
c) experience self-efficacy through individual and joint activities.
The project aims to make them realise what strengths and resources they have within themselves that can give them confidence and a positive sense of self.
