Things are moving.
Film education is cultural education!
And we move with you! As part of the Münster Film Festival, the NRW Film Culture Network cordially invites all interested parties to the theme day “It moves (something). Film education is cultural education!”:
23 September 2023 from 10-16 h
Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster – Studio stage
Domplatz 23, 48143 Münster
The event will focus on ideas and concepts for making the diverse film education programmes in NRW more visible and for anchoring these programmes in educational and cultural institutions in the long term. At the same time, the theme day serves as a platform for dialogue between stakeholders from film education and culture, politics and administration, education and all interested parties.
In the morning, small groups will have the opportunity to discuss current issues in film education in NRW and develop ideas for new programmes. In the afternoon, there will be a panel discussion with Dr Michael Reitemeyer (Ministry of Culture and Science), Michaela Günther (Ministry of Schools and Education) and Stefan Jung (Ministry of Children, Youth, Family, Equality, Refugees and Integration), Birgit Schröder (Head of the Youth Welfare and Schools Department at the Institute for Social Work, Münster – main areas of work include quality development in all-day schools) and Prof. Dr Manuel Zahn (Professor of Aesthetic Education at the University of Cologne).
