Cinema Ost: Eastern Europe in the Mirror of Film | 16 to 30 March

The Cinema Ost Filmtage is entering its third round! Under the motto Shades of the Past, the film festival presents five selected films as well as a reading with the Ukrainian filmmaker and author Iryna Tsilyk.

The works reflect current cultural and social discourses in Eastern Europe and thematise the formative experiences of Soviet tyranny.

Opening on 16 March with the premiere of The Master and Margarita, followed by a film discussion with the actor August Diehl.
