[Call for Projects] Pitching Session

Filmwerkstatt Münster is inviting up-and-coming filmmakers from Münster to take part in a pitching session as part of LITFILMS – applications must be submitted by 7 August!

Filmwerkstatt Münster invites up-and-coming filmmakers from Münster to submit their short film projects by 7 August 2026 in order to take part in the pitching session as part of theLITFILMS Literature Film Festival on 26 September2026.

During the pitching session, filmmakers may be awarded a production grant for the 2027 shoot of their short film by the Münster Cultural Office. Present your film idea in a pitch lasting no more than five minutes to a panel of experts – who will then make a recommendation to the Münster Cultural Office.

A pitching workshop will take place on 1 September 2026, ahead of the pitching session on 26 September as part of the LITFILMS Literature Film Festival. It doesn’t matter whether your project is a documentary or a feature film. The film projects should be based in Münster or the Münsterland region, either through your own involvement or thematically. As emerging filmmakers, your age is irrelevant.

Apply by 7 August 2025 exclusively by email to projektpool@filmwerkstatt-muenster.de, including the following documents as PDF files:

*Film description: current status, artistic approach and timeline (max. 1 A4 page)
*Short letter of motivation (max. ½ A4 page)
*CV with filmography (max. 1 A4 page)

We look forward to hearing from you!
