Another four film projects in development funded!

The jury selected the projects by Can Ünlü, Maryam Zuhuri, Paula Berger and the film team Tobias Grimstein & Jasper Rott.

Filmwerkstatt Münster’s AUSLÖSER development funding programme entered its second round in 2024 and 20 applications were received. The jury was impressed by the number and high quality and it was once again evident how lively the independent film scene in the region is. Thematically, many of the films deal with global political events, personal reflection and the examination of various topics. The forms cover the entire spectrum of film culture – from documentaries and feature films to hybrid formats and experimental approaches. We are delighted by the great interest and diversity of the submissions. It was therefore not easy to make a selection.

On Wednesday, 7 February, the jury consisting of Nina Romming, Anna Schlottbohm and Marc Pierschel met with the management at the Filmwerkstatt Münster. After intensive discussions, four projects were selected to receive financial support in the development of their material. The teams will also receive regular advice, the possibility of technical support and the opportunity to take part in seminars organised by the Filmwerkstatt free of charge.

Supported are: Can Ünlü, Maryam Zuhuri, Paula Berger and the film team Tobias Grimstein & Jasper Rott.

We will meet the filmmakers soon and present their projects.

The project pool is funded by the Ministry of Culture and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
