Copywriter Hannes Lücke is on his way to the family Christmas ritual in his hometown of Münster. Just like every year – only one thing is different this time: the intact bourgeois world is showing cracks, the married Hannes takes his young girlfriend Inge with him and puts her up in a hotel. According to Hannes’ instructions, Inge is not supposed to be seen anywhere near him. But Inge throws a spanner in the works for him and his festive plans between classmates, family and girlfriend.
