“Orfeo: A comic poem in the dark” is a visually opulent journey between myth, dream world and graphic novel – a performative reading by Sarah Giese. This will be followed by Virgilio Villoresi’s film “Orfeo “, based on the graphic novel “Poema a fumetti” by Dino Buzzati.
Every two years, the POETRY programme forms the multifaceted supporting programme for the Münster International Poetry Meeting with the awarding of the City of Münster Prize for International Poetry.
POETRY has set itself the goal of translating poetry into other forms of artistic expression – be it another form of language, performing arts, images or video clips.
POETRY 2026 will take place from 8 June to 5 July.
The 24th Lyriktreffen Münster will be held from 3 to 5 July this year under the motto “Poetry and speech bubble”. As in previous decades, outstanding lyrical voices from all over the world will be coming to Münster in 2026.
