Two participants in our screenwriting class with Alexander Daus have received funding for their books from the Film- und Medienstiftung NRW. We congratulate them and wish them continued success!
– Filmwerkstatt member Asbirg Naranjo has received a grant of 10,000 euros for her screenplay “Omo”, the story of the encounter between two Nigerian refugees in the grey East Westphalian province.
– “What are you doing, Peggy Sue?” by Tanja Ackemann is set at a petrol station in the middle of nowhere on the German-German border, whose regular staff are startled by the sudden fall of the Berlin Wall. The screenplay is being funded with 20,000 euros.
