The Ministry of Culture and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia has developed the “Film Education and Cinema” funding programme together with the NRW Film Culture Network, which will be tested in a pilot phase from 2022-2024. The funding of 250,000 euros per year will enable the realisation of new film education and practical film mediation projects in North Rhine-Westphalia.
The funding programme supports a focus on film education in the context of the cultural practice of cinema. The funds used for this purpose are intended to sustainably strengthen the area of film education and mediation in North Rhine-Westphalia.
Applications for the 2024 financial year can be submitted online from summer 2023; the application deadline is expected to be 31 October 2023.
