On 13 March 2025, the board of Netzwerk Filmkultur NRW e.V. (Maxa Zoller, Steffi Köhler, Alexander Scholz, Jan Wagner) attended the hearing of the Committee for Culture and Media in the state parliament in Düsseldorf to support the motion “Securing cultural diversity – stabilising cultural funding and immediately activating funding portals for 2025” by the SPD and FDP parliamentary groups. Lucienne Laven, Managing Director of Netzwerk Filmkultur NRW e.V., was invited to speak at the hearing.
